Victoria Pawlowski, MEd (Counselling Psychology), RD

Victoria PawlowskiVictoria Pawlowski is a nutritionist, counselor and health educator who has spent over 20 years working with individuals, groups and communities around food, health and community issues. 
  
Born and raised in Toronto, Victoria holds degrees in Nutrition from the University of Alberta and in Counselling Psychology from the University of Toronto as well as an internship at Royal Columbian Hospital in New Westminster, BC. She worked for many years with different levels of government and non-profit agencies and has been a key collaborator on innovative projects around food security, school foods, feeding children and addictions.

Over the years, Victoria’s personal and professional life has expanded to include an integrative, mindfulness approach to self-care and healing.  Victoria has studied Mindful Eating with former monk and mindful eating specialist, Donald Altman and has completed certification in developmental skills training with The Institute for Health Solutions at the University of San Francisco.

Currently, Victoria provides ongoing psycho-nutritional counseling and health education consultation to Sheppell fgi, Capers Community Markets and Wellsprings Therapy Centre, in addition to her private practice.

Creative and engaging, Victoria connects with clients in a practical, down to earth, intelligent way that makes a difference. She brings a deep curiosity and passion to her transformative, collaborative work with clients. She is personally committed to holistic health, walks her talk, and genuinely wants to support people to enjoy their food, appreciate their body and live well.
